City Clerk


The City Clerk is appointed by the Mayor and serves as the secretary for the Council and Official Custodian of the City Seal. The City Clerk, or her designee, is responsible for attending all City council meetings, keeping the official minutes of all meetings of the City Council, recording all City Ordinances and Resolutions, attesting to all city documents, researching public record requests, administering oaths, and giving notice of public meetings as required by law.

The City Clerk handles the financial affairs for the city. This is also where the public pays water bills, pays for building permits, and pays to get dogs out of the pound.
