Trash Service Changes Pickup Day
Trash Service Day Change & Automated Trash Service
Beginning on March 3 rd, 2017, the trash service day will be Friday for the city limits of Eureka. Normal
service days will continue through Tuesday February 28 th. You will begin seeing carts delivered/replaced the
week of February 13 th. Please place your trash in your Waste Connections provided container going forward.
Trash carts will be picked up by a truck with an automated arm that reaches out and grabs the cart. Please place
all of your trash in your Waste Connections provided container and set to the curbside by 6:00 am on Fridays.
Please set your container within 2 feet of the curb and at least 3 feet away from a mail box or other
obstruction that would interfere with collection. Please set carts at least 6 ft away from vehicles.
